סַנְדָּלc. (σάνδαλον, prob. from Pers. sandal = calceus) sandal, 1) a sole with straps, shoe, contrad. to מַנְעָל a. נַעַל. Sabb.VI, 2, v. סָמַר. Yoma VIII, 1.
